This page covers the Trynerz app and this website. Plain words, the whole list.

The Trynerz app

Trynerz is where a coach tracks clients, session packs and payments, so the app holds more than this site does. This is all of it.

Your account and profile

You sign up with an email address and a password, or with your Google account. If you choose Google we receive your name and email address and nothing else. Your profile is what you type into it: your name, what you coach, your specialties, languages, rates and the gyms or places you work. If you publish your public coach page, it shows exactly what you chose to put on it, to anyone with the link. Account emails such as the signup confirmation and password reset are sent through Resend.

Your clients' records

The records you keep about your clients: their names and contact details, their goals, body measurements if you track them, the sessions you log, and their packs and payments. They are locked to your account in the database, so no other coach can read them, and we do not read, use or share them for anything. They exist to be shown back to you. Your clients trust you with this information, so tell them you keep it in Trynerz and remove it if they ask.

Where app data lives

App data is stored in a Supabase database, and sign-in runs through Supabase too. Account emails go through Resend, and Google is involved only if you sign in with Google. If your version of the app offers Trynerz Pro, RevenueCat is involved too, as described under Subscriptions below. All of them are processors acting on our instructions. The app itself contains no advertising and no analytics, and app updates fetched from Expo servers carry no account data.

Subscriptions (Trynerz Pro)

Trynerz is free for up to 5 clients, with every feature. Trynerz Pro, where your version of the app offers it, removes that limit and is billed monthly or yearly. If you subscribe, Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) bills you and manages the subscription. Trynerz never sees your card or any other payment details.

To tell the app whether you are Pro, we use RevenueCat, a subscription management service. Where your version of the app offers Pro, the app identifies you to RevenueCat with an account identifier, a random ID that is not your name or email address, whether or not you subscribe. If you buy or restore a subscription, RevenueCat also receives your purchase and subscription status from the store, and it sees the technical details any online service sees, such as your IP address. RevenueCat is a processor acting on our instructions. We store whether you are Pro, which store and plan it came from, and the date it ends. We never receive or store card or payment details.

You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, or through Manage subscription in the Settings screen of the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. If you change phones, use Restore purchases in Settings to get Pro back.

Deleting your Trynerz account does not cancel a subscription. Only Apple or Google can do that, so cancel in the store before you delete your account, or you will keep being billed.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. It deletes your account and every record stored under it, your clients and our copy of your Pro status included, immediately. It does not cancel a store subscription, so cancel that first, as described under Subscriptions above. If your version of the app offers Pro, deleting your account also deletes the RevenueCat customer record for your account. You can also email hello@trynerz.com from your account address to ask us to delete your account for you, and we will reply to confirm. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold first.

This website and the waitlist

Everything below is about this website and its waitlist form only.

What we collect

Your email address, the date you joined, and which form on the site you used. There is no account and no password. When you submit the form, your IP address passes briefly through our server's memory so we can stop the form being spammed. It is never written to the database.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It records which page was viewed, roughly where in the world from, and what kind of device and browser, so we can tell whether anyone is finding the site. It sets no cookies, it does not follow you to other sites, and it does not tell us who you are. We set no advertising cookies of any kind. The only thing stored in your browser is whether you chose the light or the dark theme, which never leaves your device.

Why we collect it

To email you once when Trynerz is available on iOS and Android, and to send you the confirmation that you are on the list. That is the whole purpose. Your address is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own use.

Where it is stored

Addresses are stored in a Supabase database, the confirmation email is sent through Resend, and the site itself is hosted on Vercel. All three are processors acting on our instructions. The waitlist table is locked so that only our server can read or write it: it is not reachable from this page or from anyone else's browser.

How long we keep it

Until launch, plus a short window afterwards so we can send the launch email. After that the list is deleted.

Getting removed

Email hello@trynerz.com from the address you signed up with and ask to be taken off. We will delete the row and reply to confirm. You can also ask what we hold about you, which will be the address itself and the date you joined.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we update this page first. The app section above is the part most likely to grow.

Questions go to hello@trynerz.com.
